1.Peeling Thickness Range(the most important factor for a face veneer peeling machine)
Face veneer is usually about 0.2–0.6 mm. The peeling machine should peel the face veneer sheets steadily without tearing.
The thickness should stay within a tight range (±0.03 mm), which means the knife must be controlled very precisely.
the stable knife holder with little vibration is important to keep the thickness consistent.
2.Veneer Quality
The veneer’s quality affects how the plywood looks. It should be smooth and even.
Sharp and accurate blades help keep the natural wood grain and a nice surface.
3.Suitable Wood Types
The machine should match the wood you want to peel, like birch, okoumé, bintangor, keruing, walnut, and so on.
Harder woods need stronger motors and different blade, and roller settings.
Tell the manufacturer your wood type so they can set the machine and blades properly.
4.Speed and Efficiency
Face veneer machines usually run at 20–60 meters per minute.
They focus on being stable and precise, not super fast.
Too high speed can ruin the veneer’s look and quality.
